Free public talks - The Art of Anatomy: From illustration to digitization

A rare chance to see the George Marshall Medical Museum's collection of 18th- and 19th-century anatomical volumes. Find out about their history, and how they have been conserved and digitised. Rhonda Niven - Binding Body Parts: Conservation and repair of volumes of anatomical drawings for the George Marshall Medical Museum.

Lee Jackson - The Photographer and the Anatomist: What dissecting a body and photographing medical books have in common.

All talks to conclude by 7:30pm with a chance to see some of the volumes in person and view the museum's new anatomy display before the public opening on Tuesday 27th October.
