Research Bursary: Open for applicants

October 25, 2017

The museums are looking for a Researcher to study the impact that the Great War had on the mental health of both the residents of Worcestershire and those involved in war work that were treated in the County. Using archives, including the Powick Hospital patient records, held at Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service at The Hive, they will focus on answering questions about the impact that the First World War had on the type of conditions treated and the numbers of patients entered or discharged during this period. For more information, download the bursary guidance note by clicking here. This will open in a new window.

Deadline for applications is 12pm on Monday 18th December, 2017.

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has reintroduced the wearing of masks in all areas due to a sharp rise in the number of patients being admitted to hospitals with flu. As such, visitors to the museum are now required to wear masks, which are provided at Reception.
