Come along and learn about aspects of motherhood in this series of bite-sized talks, and explore the George Marshall Medical Museum after hours! The short talks will explore representations of being, and not being, a mother in the UK.
There will be four talks (15 minutes each), followed by a Q&A session.
The series of talks will be pitched at adults, but everyone is welcome.
This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 6 - 15 November 2025. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
