Have you seen the new film?

We were lucky to be included in a new film made to bring attention to the wealth of heritage in Worcester which covers 1000 years of stories. You can see some of the most popular features of these churches, museums and other venues in this short film made by Fruit Tree Films with funding from Museums Worcestershire and Arts Council England. Our partners included are: Worcester Cathedral, The Commandery, George Marshall Medical Museum, Greyfriar's House & Garden, Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service, The Infirmary, Museum of Royal Worcester, St Martin in the Cornmarket, St Swithun's Church, Tudor House Museum, Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum, Worcestershire Museum of Freemasonry, Worcester Guildhall.

Buildings Talk - Hospital Histories

The George Marshall Medical Museum will be hosting its fourth annual evening of talks relating to the history of medicine and healthcare on Thursday 13th July, 2017. Please do get in touch with ideas for a 30 minute talk, which this year, will focus on the history of medical and healthcare buildings and how their architecture may have impacted upon patients' health.
