Edward Cotterell is an ODP and works in KTC Ophthalmology. During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 he was redeployed to the mortuary at Worcester along with Wayne Turner (Healthcare assistant also from Ophthalmology), and in early 2021 was redeployed again to Worcester and Redditch mortuary.

He tells us that this is “…a very different role physically and emotionally of course but we have coped well and feel proud to have done my bit during the worst of the pandemic.”

As well as working within the Trust, Edward is an artist, and when he saw Jo was creating portraits of staff he offered to create a portrait of her. He has also created a beautiful portrait of Sir Captain Tom Moore, which you can see on this page.

With thanks to the artist for allowing us to reproduce the portrait here for all to enjoy.

You can view Jo Keeley’s portrait of Edward here.
